Call the Grammar Police!

January 4, 2010

Looks like it’s time for Tom Torriglia, Chief of the Grammar Police, to make an arrest at Starbucks headquarters.  In the photo is a napkin from Starbucks, replete with grammatical error.  Paraphrasing Steve McGarrett, "NAGG-’em, Tom-O!"

Introducing NAGG

January 3, 2010

There is a new sheriff in town, or rather a new Chief of Police.  In this case, he is the Chief of the Grammar Police, and he runs NAGG, the National Association for Good Grammar.  His name is Tom Torriglia, and he is a professional writer and musician who lives in San Francisco.  Check out the book on good grammar that he is writing.  Currently, Tom is working hard to ensure that the new year is pronounced “twenty” “ten”.  Let's all support our local sheriff, er, Chief of the Grammar Police.
